Sectors We Recruit For
Nuclear
Engineers and specialists for defence nuclear, submarine propulsion, civil nuclear and nuclear decommissioning.
Fahad McCann
Founder & Director
Overview
Nuclear recruitment for defence nuclear programmes, submarine propulsion, civil nuclear new build and operations, and nuclear decommissioning. Nuclear work is highly regulated, safety-critical and often classified, and the industry needs more suitably qualified and experienced people (SQEP) than it has. We recruit permanent and contract engineers and specialists for nuclear employers and their supply chains.
Roles We Recruit
Engineering, safety and programme talent across the nuclear lifecycle.
Defence Nuclear: engineers and scientists for defence nuclear programmes and infrastructure.
Submarine Propulsion: reactor plant, mechanical, electrical, and control and instrumentation engineers.
Civil Nuclear: new build, operations and small modular reactor engineers across mechanical, electrical, civil, and control and instrumentation.
Safety Case and Licensing: nuclear safety case, hazard analysis, radiological protection and regulatory specialists.
Decommissioning and Waste: decommissioning, waste management, remediation and project controls specialists.
Why Nuclear Hiring Is Different
Nuclear roles often need specific SQEP experience, and defence nuclear roles usually need high-level clearance and are restricted by nationality. Programmes are long, and many experienced engineers are nearing retirement while demand grows across defence, new build and decommissioning. We plan searches around clearance and site requirements, and look for transferable skills from naval, oil and gas, and other high-hazard industries where they fit the role.
Hiring in Nuclear?
Tell us the role, the programme and the timeline. We will tell you what is realistic and how we would approach the search, permanent or contract.
